EDEX Day 3 Morning

Morning has come and progressed slowly into afternoon and the stall is busy. Visitors are crowded in to capacity, with most watching the musicians jamming away. The M3 area is crowded as usual with myriad visitors inquiring about the new HSPA technology. Wizz too have many curious people checking out the IP phones on display. Chatting is popular as ever with many choosing to browse the net. Our solitary male model (incidently who has represented Sri Lanka in China as Mr Sri Lanka) has taken up a new role, that of singing to his beloved. The other models are on their rotating stage with their display units. Things look good.

EDEX Day 2 Morning

Morning has dawned on day two and its looks to be a sleepy day. A few visitors have trickled in and seem to be most interested in the musical instruments while the technology and models hardly get a cursory glance. Netshare has a few visitors but digi art and Lit Lines is dead, with the writer being the sole contributor to the blog. At the Messenger Zone people check their email and browse their Facebook accounts, while at Sound Vibes Dexter and Jawid strum and bang respectively. The net cast is in full swing with the young lads from Royal still being utterly fascinated with the models at the stall. IPTV and Wizz attract little attention this morning and surprisingly even M3 has few visitors. The models still keep up their rigid poses while rotating ever so gently. I guess it must still be too early for the visitors to be at a stall on a lazy Saturday morning. Let's hope events heat up later while the sun hopefully does not.

EDEX Day 1 evening

Evening arrives and this writer is sitting and jotting his evening's experiences to the sound of ethnic drums playing from outside the stall. The CEO of SLT, Shoji Takahashi has just been along to tour the stall casting a revered silence among the gathering. Some visitors however, just continue with their myriad questions and ceaseless experiments with the various technologies on offer.

Visitors check their mail, experiencing extremely high speeds, upload art onto the blog, inspect the softphones at Wizz World bombard Mobitel with questions on their new HSPA technology. The models still sit quite resolutely in their seats at the centre of the stall, rotating ever so gently, keeping up their stiff poses.

Day one is rapidly drawing to a close, and events have been more than successful.

Pretty Good Place

Was verry with all the settings and you guys should have a promotion like this every month at many locations.....

A Special World

A special world for you and me
A special bond one cannot see
It wraps us up in its cocoon
And holds us fiercely in its womb.

Its fingers spread like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like silken thread it holds us fast
Bonds like this are meant to last.

And though at times a thread may break
A new one forms in its wake
To bind us closer and keep us strong
In a special world, where we belong.

EDEX Day 1 Afternoon

Afternoon has come with its heat but things are cool within the stall. Visitors inside are eagerly clutching every bit of information available while experiencing all the services on offer. The stall is packed to the point of claustraphobia with visitors and media alike visiting each stall. The music has mellowed slightly as weary fingers are starting to lose their touch. Hellgate London, the game atM3, is still going strong as visitors take turns in fighting off the horde of monsters that are invading London City, giving this writer a respite from levelling up the sole defender of this great city. The models in the models at the centre are taking a well deserved break by relaxing on the beanbags. Things are looking up at Net Tunes also as Lakmali and Shehan (BT) configure more settings.

Things are lookinng good!

EDEX Morning Day 1

Day one dawns, and the stall is looking good. A few last minute technical details are attended to while the people stay ready to man the stall. The opening ceremony has been completed and the chief guest is visting the stalls. Music is playing and the live radio broadcast is going on in the background, creating a a fusion of two genres of music that blends in with the theme of creating a digital lifestyle.

People look around nervously as a parade of dignitaries browse through the many features and services available at the stall. At Netshare photos are being uploaded onto the net while at Digi Art Nimesh edits pictures and transfers them to the blog. This writer is precariously perched on his stool writing his experience in the stall at Lit Lines while at the Messenger Zone Niroshana configures SLTnet messenger.

At the music corner Steven is strumming away while Trevyn is banging on the drums. Net Tunes is busy with their live broadcast while IPTV is being configured. The Wizzers are busy with the IP phones while at M3 Dininda is 'testing' a game. In the centre 3 models (2 girls and a guy) sit on a rotating stage, admiring the passersby.

The hustle and bustle is on. EDEX has begun.
